Confirmation candidates continue their journey toward full initiation in the Catholic Church. They strengthen their union with God and look for opportunities to serve their parish and their community. They must also choose a sponsor, pick a Saint name, participate in various spiritual and community projects, attend at least one retreat, and be committed to continuing the faithful practice and study of the Catholic religion.
