In the Marriage vows a sacred promise is made.  By making this promise before God and His people, the bride and groom are imparting to each other the Sacrament of Marriage. The church is a place of worship for a Catholic community and not a wedding "venue", so we want to have some kind of relationship with those who request to get married at our parish.

There are also expectations as Catholics when it comes to weddings in the Catholic church. Part of this is being Catholic in good standing (meaning active, practicing Catholics) who understand and want to be Sacramentally married. The other requirements include:

- The Prenuptial Investigation forms completed with the priest or deacon

- Marriage preparation at the parish with the pastor or deacon

- Completing a sponsor couple program or a diocese approved marriage weekend

- A course on Natural Family Planning

- Sacramental records (Baptism, First Communion, Confirmation)

- If you are not a parishioner, a letter of good standing from the parish that you are registered at.

Please read the Wedding Policies below, and view the other links which will help you in planning and preparing for your marriage.  If you are ready to begin this process email Deacon Derick at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
